Ready Player One is a 2016 American animated dystopian science fiction action comedy film based on the 2011 novel of the same name by Ernest Cline. It was produced by TjsWorld2011 Pictures and Nickelodeon Movies for Paramount Pictures. It was the fifteenth feature film produced by TW2011 Pictures, as well as its first collaboration with Nickelodeon since 2008's Heroball. Its plot follows a contest between players in the OASIS video game whose objective is to find three hidden keys in order to win its deceased creator James Halliday's estate.

The film was released in theaters, RealD 3D and IMAX 3D on July 1, 2016 by Paramount Pictures, and received mostly positive reviews from critics. It was later released on Digital HD, DVD and Blu-ray on November 1, 2016.
